We start the adventure at 7:00 am from your hotel. The drive takes about 2 hours, but halfway we stop at the beautiful Llanos de Cortés Waterfall 💦 — the perfect spot to swim, take photos, and enjoy this hidden gem.

Next, we head to Tenorio Volcano National Park, home of the famous Rio Celeste. Here, we’ll enjoy a 1-hour hike (depending on your fitness level) through the lush rainforest, leading to the breathtaking Rio Celeste Waterfall.

Afterwards, we’ll have a traditional Costa Rican lunch 🍛.

In the afternoon, we visit a private reserve 🌳, where you may encounter amazing wildlife in their natural habitat: sloths 🦥, toucans 🦜, monkeys 🐒, frogs 🐸, and snakes 🐍. While sightings can’t be 100% guaranteed, most of the time we’re lucky to spot them!

We’ll return to your hotel around 4:00 pm.

Such a beautiful and peaceful tour! Our guide was super knowledgeable and helped us find several sloths up in the trees. The color of Rio Celeste was unreal, like something out of a dream. Highly recommend.
